Interface Tour

WorkGoa's interface is organized around "a book you're writing". On first launch, spend two minutes recognizing a few areas and the rest of your writing goes smoothly.

Sidebar

The left rail is your global entry point: switch workspaces, open the task center, view account and quota, and check for updates all live here. When signed out, a "Log in" entry is always kept. The sidebar collapses to icons only.

Chat

The middle pane is where you talk to the agent. The input supports references: select a file or page content and "add to chat" — references show as capsules so it's clear what you mean.

Workspace

Each book maps to a manuscript workspace that organizes prose and ledgers (settings, characters, foreshadowing, pacing) by volume and chapter. Reads and writes stay inside the directory you chose; out-of-bounds actions need explicit authorization. See Create and Manage a Manuscript Workspace.

Built-in browser

WorkGoa ships a browser with a split AI-companion panel: place the page and chat side by side, extract page content, take native screenshots, or use Design Mode to pick a page element into context.

Toolbox

The toolbox splits MCP tools and CLI tools into sibling tabs at the top. Preset tools follow the product's main line — the web-novel consistency engine comes first, general third-party capabilities last. Toggle each as you like.

File preview

File preview has edit / preview modes, and selected content can be added to the chat in one click.
