Which platforms are supported

We currently ship a macOS desktop app (Apple Silicon / Intel). Windows, Linux, and mobile are in preparation and will appear in the Download Center when ready.

Do my manuscripts get uploaded

No. Manuscripts, ledgers, and three-layer memory live in your local workspace directory, and model requests go straight from your machine to the provider you configure (BYOK). The server doesn't relay model calls or store conversation content.

Does WorkGoa cost money

The client is free to download and use, and every software feature is open; the only paid item is quota for hosted models (monthly plans and token packs), and with BYOK model fees always sit between you and your provider. See Account & Quota and the pricing page.

What if I change computers

Workspaces and ledgers are ordinary files that move with your project directory; memory persists as Markdown + Git. Log in to the same account on a new machine to continue; controlled-device slots come with a free quota (3) and depend on no purchase.

I didn't get the verification email

Sign up with a common mailbox and check your promotions / spam folder. If it still doesn't arrive, try again a little later (code sending is rate-limited).

Where to look when something breaks

Update to the latest version first: many startup, unwritable-log-directory, and provider-switch issues were fixed in recent releases. If it still reproduces, keep the diagnostic downgrade notice and log directory for feedback.
