Install on macOS

We currently ship a macOS desktop app for both Apple Silicon and Intel chips; Windows, Linux, and mobile are in preparation.

Download the installer

Go to the Download Center and pick the macOS package that matches your chip (Apple Silicon or Intel). All installers are distributed officially, never through third-party mirrors.

First launch

1. Double-click the .dmg and drag the WorkGoa icon into your Applications folder.
2. Open WorkGoa from Applications.
3. If macOS shows an "unidentified developer" prompt, choose Allow in the dialog, or click "Open Anyway" under System Settings → Privacy & Security. This is a normal safety notice for a local app and doesn't affect use.

Stay updated

WorkGoa has built-in auto-update, and you'll also see an update entry at the bottom of the sidebar to check manually anytime. Updating never touches your local manuscripts or ledger data.

After installing

Once installed, first connect a model provider by entering an API Key, then take the interface tour.
